This morning Dooley School was recognized for receiving the Academic Achievement Award from the Illinois State Board of Education. The Illinois Honor Roll celebrates the accomplishments of Illinois public schools that are providing high quality education for all their students.
State Superintendent Chris Koch presented the awards to our school. Student Council Co-Presidents Stephen A. and Melissa V., along with staff and building administration were on hand to accept this award on our behalf.
This is the third consecutive year we have received this award. Twelve other District 54 schools were recognized as well. On behalf of Schaumburg School District 54 and the entire Dooley community, thank you to everyone (students, staff and families) for supporting our students. It is because of your commitment and hard work that we receive these acknowledgements.
