Report Cards Online Nov. 21
Parents/guardians will be able to view report cards online this trimester on November 21. We want to ensure that all of our parents have access to this early viewing of the report card, so we encourage you to sign up for the District 54 Infinite Campus Parent/Student Portal. The portal is a website and app where parents and guardians can view their children’s grades, assignments, immunizations, test scores, demographic information and report cards. If you have not previously logged on to the portal, contact our front office for instructions on how to obtain a secure Campus Portal Activation Key.
The end of each trimester is a great time to pause and reflect about the great work that has happened. We recognize the importance of celebrating the many victories during the first trimester. Please take some time this week to talk with your child about this past trimester. Feel free to use some of these questions in your conversation:
What are you most proud of this trimester?
How are you different now than you were in August?
What is one thing you are excited about coming up in the second trimester?
How can I (the parent) help you be successful this trimester?
What goals are you setting for yourself this trimester?
At the beginning of this school year, Dooley families received a copy of The Orange Frog Family Reading Guide. Beginning next week, we will spend time with our students focusing on a variety of Happiness Tactics and Habits. You can read more about these on page 77 of your Family Reading Guide. This week our entire building will focused on sharing gratitudes. Please be sure to share some with your child at home and to ask them about how they shared gratitudes at school. Next week, we will focus in on another Happiness Tactic. Stay tuned for more information!
