Walk-4-Anderson- Tomorrow!

This year at Dooley, our theme is “Be the Change!” The Dooley Specials Team wants to make a change, so we are collecting food and other items for the Anderson Animal Shelter in Bloomingdale, Illinois during the month of October.  We are asking students to bring an item to the school to place in our donation box.

The 1st and 2nd graders will be “kicking” off the collection with a walk-a-thon tomorrow, Tuesday, October 1 from 5:00-6:00 p.m.  Students will begin with our “Be the Change” song and school song, and then we will start our walk-a-thon around Dooley School. We will be starting our collection that night and boxes will be available outside of the school for donations.  This is a great opportunity to show kindness to others and teach our students that a small act of kindness can contribute to making a significant change!

All students and their families are welcome to attend.  We hope to see you and your child at this event tomorrow night!

*Cat Litter (Non-Clumping)

*Feather Cat Toys

*Kitten Feeding Bottles

*Stuffing-less Plush Dog Toys


*Treats (soft or moist only)

*Nylon Dog Leashes with Swivel Clip

*Paper Towels

*Stainless Steel No-Tip Pet Food Bowls
