EIM students performing at Septemberfest wtih violins

It’s hard to believe that we have already completed four weeks of school (three for kindergarten).  Our students have grasped their daily routines and are working hard.  We are happy to see kids connecting with friends and engaging in high levels of learning.

Our classroom highlight for the week is Ms. Spain’s fifth grade dual language class.  Students in room 113 have created a slides to show what they have been working on these past couple of weeks.  Room 113 Highlights

Wednesday, September 15th is a half day for students.  Dismissal is at 11:40.  If your child has a change in pick up for that day, please let us know.

COVID Dashboard

With suburban Cook County now in a level of high community transmission of COVID-19 (Cook County Department of Public Health), District 54 has decided to create COVID Dashboards on each school’s website to provide families and staff with a transparent summary of instances of COVID-19 reported to District 54. A positive case indicates that the student or staff member has tested positive for COVID-19. Please report cases of COVID-19 to our school so that we can initiate contact tracing. Parents/guardians of students identified as close contacts will be contacted directly to discuss next steps. District 54 will update these dashboards by 3 p.m. on Fridays when school is in session.
