Respect Week graphic with what you wear each day.

This week’s highlight is Mrs. Conrad’s music classrooms. Our first grader music program, Snow Day, was a huge success last night. Students worked hard preparing for this special concert.  We hope you enjoy seeing what students in kindergarten through sixth grade are working on this month in music!  Music Highlight

Wednesday, March 1st is a PTA dine out night at Cafe Zupas. Please see the flyer below. This is a great opportunity to see other Dooley Families, support the PTA and have a yummy dinner!

We are still looking for parent participation in the 5Essentials Survey. If you have not taken the survey yet, please see below for more information.

Student Ambassador Coin Challenge

For the month of February we are focusing on the Happiness Tactic,Conscious Acts of Kindness. It has been nice to see the different things students are doing. To wrap up the month of February, student ambassadors are hosting a coin challenge fundraiser and we wanted to provide some details before we get started.

Grade levels will compete against each other to collect as many coins as possible in a week.  Student ambassadors will pick up coins during lunch.  Teams are K-2, 3-4, and 5-6.

Rules of the Challenge:  Coins count towards positive points.  Students can place dollar bills in other grade level jars to count as negative points towards that team.

Funds raised will be donated to the victims of the earthquakes in Turkey-Syria through the American Red Cross organization.

5Essentials

Once again we are reaching out to our families and asking you to participate in the annual Illinois 5Essentials Survey to provide us with your perspective and help guide our school improvement efforts. The parent survey will be available online through March 31, 2023, at survey.5-essentials.org/Illinois

The survey takes about 10 minutes to complete and is available in English and Spanish. Note: the survey will time out and you will need to start over if you don’t finish in one sitting.

If you have more than one child, you may complete the survey for each child. You will be asked to select your county and then your child’s school.
