We’re excited for Celebrate Reading and Writing Night on Wednesday, April 15th! The event will take place at Dooley School from 5:00–6:30 PM. What to expect: As you enter the building, please stop by the table in the front hallway to pick up a passport, including the map of activities around Dooley school. Throughout the evening, families are invited to visit a variety of classrooms and grade levels and participate in literacy activities happening in each space, along with additional experiences around the school. Highlights include guest readers, featuring some Dooley alumni, activities from the Schaumburg Library, opportunities to take pictures with Dudley at the photo booth, activities hosted by our Schaumburg Oyanokai, and treats provided by the Dooley PTA. Students will receive a stamp at each station they visit. At the end of the night, passports can be turned in for a chance to win a prize in a raffle at our next school assembly!
