We had such a wonderful week at Dooley School. We are grateful to our PTA volunteers for a very successful day at the Dooley Holiday Shop!
Dooley is proud to celebrate the District 54 inagural Blue Apple Award winners this week! The Blue Apple Award, new this year, honors two staff members from each school who embody the District 54 core values of academic success, belonging and culture. Congratulations to our Dooley award winners, Joyce Hyndman and Stella Mitsuno! We are incredibly grateful for the positve impact these two amazing staff members have on our Dooley community!
If there is a change in the usual way that your child will be going home, please email the office staff and your child’s classroom teacher in advance. It is most essential to let the office know, as teachers aren’t always able to check email throughout the afternoon. If an unusual circumstance arises the day of, we ask that you please call the office no later than 2:00 PM the day of the change. Students will go home their scheduled way if the front office has not been notified.
Families dropping off their child(ren) during arrival at the Drop and Go on Lowell Lane, please do not park and leave your car to drop off your child(dren). This lane is meant to keep moving quickly so we can ensure the flow of traffic and have our students safely enter the building. Thank you for your help with this!
Each year, the Department of Language and Culture, along with the Schaumburg Park District, presents a Multicultural Event that showcases the diversity represented by the students of District 54. We are looking for groups and individual students who are interested in performing at this year’s event on Saturday, March 8, 2025!
