Happy New Year! We hope your 2025 is off to a great start! We loved welcoming our Dragons back to school this week. We started off our week celebrating our students at the PBIS assembly. Dudley even made an appearance at the assembly to help us kick off the New Year! Our students also spent time in their classrooms reflecting on their values and setting goals for the second half of the school year.
District 54 is committed to ensuring not only the academic success of each child, but also their social-emotional wellbeing. Your insight as a parent/guardian is essential in creating the most well rounded picture of your student’s strengths and opportunities for growth. To gather your perspective, District 54 will send families of students in grades 3-8 an email link for each child to the District 54 Personal Assessment of Core Competency Survey on Monday, January 6th. The window will close on Friday, January 24th. Thank you in advance for participating in this survey, as we believe the home-school collaboration is critical to best support your child’s overall well-being.
District 54 is excited to announce its 13th annual Spanish Speech Contest on May 2, 2025. Students in 3rd through 8th grade who are interested in participating should prepare a written speech, a video of themselves delivering the speech and submit both along with the application by March 7th.
