We had a full and fantastic week at Dooley school! Our Dragons were all smiles today during Picture Day. Thank you to our volunteers for their support throughout the day!
Our students continue to be engaged in their learning and even spent time this week setting academic and SEL goals for themselves individually and as a class community.
The Dooley Specials Team are excited about our upcoming 5th Annual Walk-4-Anderson! It will be on Wednesday, September 25th from 4:30-5:30 p.m. at Dooley!
We will be singing our School and Theme songs to kick off this wonderful event! We will then have our walkathon around the school, including a book walk to enjoy as well!
Please feel free to donate any of these item for our furry friends at Anderson Humane (animal shelter). These supplies would directly benefit the adorable cats and dogs who are waiting for their forever homes!
Suggested Donations:
Dog/Cat Food (any brand)
Dog/Cat Treats
Stainless steel bowls
Dog/Cat Toys (new, not used)
Paper Towels
Cat Litter
Dog “Fecal Waste” Bags
This is such a worthy cause, and the Dooley kiddos really enjoy helping out this organization! This reminds me of the words of our new theme song…
“One is all it takes! Just light your candle and lead the way! We make a difference! Dooley, We Are One!” Let’s make a difference!
Sincerely,
The Dooley Specials Team

Join the District 54 Education Foundation, School District 54 and our Title Sponsor, Northwest Ballet Academy, at the 20th annual Run to Read on Sunday, September 22, 2024 at Dirksen School. This event will include a 5K run/walk, a 1-mile walk and children’s races. This year the event will be hosted by the District 54 Education Foundation. The District 54 Education Foundation is committed to providing support to children from financially struggling families in our district. With this change in host, all funds raised this year will be used to support programs for these families. By meeting the basic needs of students, they are preparing students to be successful at school, thus the name Run to Read still applies.
Register for the event, donate or sign up to be a sponsor here Run to Read Website. Not a runner? With a $10 donation, you can sponsor a District 54 student whose family cannot afford to participate in this race
