With the winter weather and snowfall upon us, we recognize that families who park on Norwood Ln. have a long walk into the building and have to navigate around the snow/ice patches along the way.

As a reminder, the Drop and Go on Lowell Lane is also an option for all car riders. A staff member is there from 8:25-8:40, another staff member greets students at Door 6, which is the closest door where students can enter, and 6th grade patrols are available to walk younger students to their class once they are inside the building.

We know this area can also get backed up with more cars taking this option. Please follow the guidelines below to make Drop and Go as quick and safe as possible:

• Pull all the way up to the front of the drop off area so more cars can fit behind
• Have your child/children ready to exit the car as soon as you pull up to the drop off area
• Move up and out of the drop and go area as soon as students close the door
• Send good morning wishes prior to them getting out of the car 🙂
• Have their backpacks/materials within arm’s reach of them so they don’t have to get items from the trunk
