Students and staff had fun making memories together this week. Thank you to our PTA for hosting winter parties as we wrapped up 2022 at Dooley School. We are so proud of how hard all of our students work each day and the kindness they show to one another. Our PTA dine out night is today at Noodles and Co from 4-8 pm.
As a reminder, winter break begins today. School will resume on Monday, January 9th. We wish all of our Dooley families Happy Holidays and a Wonderful New Year. We look forward to many peak moments together in 2023!

Once again, we are pleased to offer the Smile Illinois-Mobile Dentists program to Dooley students. This OPTIONAL program will be held at Campanelli School (310 So Springinsguth Rd, Schaumburg) on January 26, 2023. Services provided are exams, teeth cleaning, fluoride treatment, and sealants. You can register to participate in the dental clinic by clicking on the link and completing the form.

Parents of Kindergarten, 2nd and 6th grade students: please note that by May 2023 you must show proof that your child has had a dental exam within the past 18 months. This is a requirement for all children in the State of Illinois. If the Smile Illinois dentist examines your child, you have fulfilled this obligation.

After winter break, Dooley School will recommit to our practices that support our students’ academic and social emotional needs. We will be utilizing The Energy Bus to provide our students consistent language and concepts that align to the PBIS, SEL and Happiness structures already in place. Our students will focus on: Creating a Positive Vision, Fuel Your Ride with Positive Energy, No Bullies Allowed, Love Your Passengers and Enjoy the Ride. We will come together as a school to unite around these five areas during SEL lessons during the month of January.
