Our last week of school was filled with celebrations. We enjoyed coming together as a school on Monday to celebrate 20 years of the Japanese Dual Language Program. Students learned about different regions in Japan, did crafts, and participated in assemblies. Our 6th grade dual language students were instrumental in making this day of learning and fun a success.
We would like to thank all of our parents who volunteered for our end of year classroom parties last year. The weather was beautiful and our kids made many memories playing games and laughing with their friends.
Additionally, we enjoyed listening to the Early Instrumental Music concert last night. Thank you to Mr. Rutherford for all of his preparations and thank you to all of our musicians for their dedication to the program.
Today, all students participated in our end of the year assemblies. Students were recognized for their hard work and viewed our End of Year Video, created by Ms. Velasco. We said farewell to our 6th graders as they took their final walk around Dooley school. We are excited for all that their future holds!
Lastly, we would like to thank all of our families for their ongoing support and partnership with our school. We hope the summer is filled with good health and many fun memories!
