We had a great week at Dooley School! We are so proud of our students that participated in the District STEAM night. We’d also like to congratulate our students in Battle of the Books that made it to the district finals. Way to go!
Our students did an amazing job putting forth their best effort on their math MAP tests! We are proud of their growth and look forward to a positive and productive last month of school.

District 54 is committed to ensuring not only the academic success of each child, but also their social-emotional well-being. Similar to this winter, we are asking for your insight as a parent/guardian in creating the most well rounded picture of your child’s strengths and opportunities for growth. To gather your perspective, District 54 sent families of students in grades 3-8 an email link for each child to the D54 Social Emotional Learning Survey on Monday, April 15. Thank you in advance for participating in this survey, as we believe the home-school collaboration is critical to best support your child’s overall well-being. The deadline to complete the survey is May 10.

During April, information about enrolling for band (trombone, trumpet, clarinet, flute) and orchestra (cello, viola, or violin) was distributed to fourth-grade students.
No previous music experience is necessary to play an instrument. Band and orchestra lessons will start at the beginning of next school year. If you have any questions, please visit the Instrumental Music Enrollment page (sd54.org/instrumentenrollment) or contact the band or orchestra teacher at your school.

Reminder you can also register your younger children who will be starting kindergarten in August 2024 through your portal account.
