Today, students in kindergarten thru sixth grade took time to reflect on their learning from the first weeks of school and to set new goals. We are so proud of how thoughtful they were during this process. We look forward to seeing our Dooley Dragons grow academically, socially and emotionally this school year!
Next week we will have our first Schaumburg Oyanokai meeting on Monday at 7:00 p.m. Mark your calendars for a dining night out at Portillo’s on Thursday and picture day on Friday!
You are invited to join us on September 13, 2022, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. as District 54’s Multicultural Parent Advisory Council presents “Collaboration: The Key to Success for English Learners.” During the session we will review how English Learners are identified in District 54 and discuss the information that ACCESS scores provide regarding your student’s learning. We will also share tips for partnering with your child’s teacher and review the Evidence Based Funding in District 54. Translators in Gujarati, Japanese, Polish and Spanish will be available during the session. Childcare will also be provided for children between the ages of 3-6.
