It was wonderful to see so many of our students and families at our Back to School Event last night. We can’t wait to Let our Superpowers Shine this school year at Dooley! Thank you for your partnership and support as we begin the 23-24 school year. We could not be more excited to welcome our 1st-6th graders back to school on Monday!
We are excited to welcome 1-6 grade students on Monday, August 21. Kindergartner’s first day of school is Monday, August 28. On the first day of school, students will meet their teachers outside before heading into the building as a class. Please take a moment to review the 23-24 Arrival and Dismissal Times prior to the first day of school. It is important to note that dismissal is at 3:00 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Friday. Every Wednesday, students are dismissed thirty minutes early at 2:30 PM.
On the first day of school, all students will line up on the blacktop behind the school to meet their teacher. Teachers will hold signs with the name and grade level for your child’s reference. All staff will be outside to support your child with finding their teacher. Please see below for line up locations on the first day of school ONLY. Thank you!

Information regarding bus routes will be mailed to your home before school begins. If you have questions about transportation, please reach out to our Transportation Department at 847-357-5104.
Immunization, physical, dental, and vision forms are required for incoming kindergarteners. Please drop these off to Nurse Johnson in the main office. Please mark your calendars for some important Kindergarten dates:

The Fall “Grow with the PTA” event is on! Treat yourself with some fall mums to bring some extra color to the season. $11 each. Red, yellow, orange and purple mums are available.
