We are excited to see you next week and to get to know your children as they begin kindergarten at Dooley School. Our kinder teachers are working hard to set up their classrooms and plan for a wonderful year of learning and fun. Each Friday during the school year, you can anticipate an email from me with important information about our school. As the start of the school year gets closer, please mark your calendars for some important dates:
- Thursday, August 11th: Back to School Night
- 5:00-5:15: Kick off and staff introductions, outside
- 5:15-6:30: Supply drop off
- Monday, August 15th: Kindergarten Screening
- You should have received a letter indicating your child’s screening time. If you have misplaced it or did not receive one, please call our office at 847-357-6250.
- Monday, August 22nd: First Day of Kindergarten
- Students will line up outside in the back of the school at 8:30
- Teachers will be outside greeting students as they line up
- Be on the lookout for a map and arrival/dismissal procedures, soon
