We enjoyed celebrating World Kindness Week at Dooley by focusing on an act of Kindness each day. We loved seeing our students dressed up each day for Kindness Week!
We look forward to connecting with families next week during conferences. We invite you to look through our Lost and Found during conferences to claim any materials your child may have lost this year. We will also be selling the amazing Veteran’s Day crafts that our students created in art class during conferences.
Our Staff Highlight this week is Mrs. Palmer’s 3rd grade class. We hope you enjoy reading all about Room 225!
Winter NWEA Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) testing begins on Tuesday, November 28th. All students take one math and one reading assessment. The first test will be math and the second will be reading. We know that this data point, along with other data gathered in the classrooms can help us to better understand how students are progressing and how to best support them.

BOOKFAIR – Scholastic Book Fair is here! Be sure to stop by when you are visiting for conferences. This year we have eWallets setup for the classrooms. If you are interested in donating to a classroom eWallet, please use this link to see all rooms that have eWallets setup.
FEED MY STARVING CHILDREN – As part of Giving Tuesday, Dooley dragons and their families are invited to pack meals together with Feed My Starving Children. This packing event will take place Tuesday 11/28 from 7-8:45pm. If you would like to join the group, please go to http://fmsc.org and sign up with our group code 781WXZ for the ‘Dooley Dragons’ group. This event is available for ages 5 and above. All packers must wear closed toe shoes and leave all jewelry at home.
